Recently, the girl was at a salon in Khar to do her nails and people were surprised to see her need for privacy. Said a source, who had visited the salon at the same time, "Bipasha Basu often comes to this place and is always very chilled out. She doesn't try to hide her face or anything of that sort. Many other actresses, including Preity Zinta, come here too. So, it was very strange to see Asin wanting to conceal her identity under the veil. For what? She surely isn't going to get mobbed!"
After Prince William and Kate Middleton royal wedding in the West, B-Town is now eagerly awaiting the wedding of it’s own Bollywood royalty — that of actress Kareena Kapoor and actor Saif Ali Khan. And while the guessing game of when the two will finally tie the knot continues, we get Kapoor herself to set the record straight. “I might get married tomorrow if I feel like it. But no, it’s not happening any time soon,” she clarifies. “Saif’s heart and soul is in Agent Vinod and that’s his priority at the moment. So, we’ll see once we’re done with that. I definitely see us going down that way, but what’s the rush?” she quips.
The actress herself is busy with her own biggies this year with the five Khans in the industry — Shah Rukh, Salman, Saif, Aamir and Imran — but she says that as the highest paid actress, her numero uno status has nothing to do with her choice not to get married at this high point in her career. “First of all, I don’t take the number one tag too seriously. I could well rank at number 100, but I would still marry when I want to. My career has nothing to do with my decision to get married,” she asserts.
But won’t she need time off from her hectic schedules for a lavish wedding affair? “No, I don’t want a very lavish wedding. I’d love a small private affair with family and close friends. So, if I really want to get married, I might just take two days off and do it,” she smiles.
But as of now even stealing those two days with beau Saif Ali Khan seems to be difficult for the actress. She’s shooting back-to-back, first with Salman for Bodyguard and then with Aamir for Reema Kagti’s film apart from juggling her shoots for the commercials, while Saif Ali Khan is away in Vietnam perfecting his martial arts. “Yes, it will be a long while before we manage even those two days off,” she laughs. But the actress says she’s not complaining. “To be working with the best in the industry, would any actor ever complain.”
Buzz is that despite the rivalry that Khan camps share, apparently, they all have been generous when it comes to adjusting their dates for her. “I don’t know about camps. But when it comes to our profession, we are all actors first and that’s all that matters,” she signs off.
All is not well between Bollywood divas Sonakshi Sinha and Zarine Khan. This was recently seen during the music launch of Ready where Sonakshi was also invited by Salman.
Sonakshi is very possessive about Salman Khan and does not like other actresses getting cosy with him. An eye-witness stated that she pushed Zarine and pretended that she did not realize it.
Salman has a soft corner for both his co-stars Zarine and Sonakshi and it is he who had recommended their names to the filmmakers.
They both debuted with him, Zarine in Veer and Sonakshi in Dabangg. The source stated that Sonakshi was angry when she saw Zarine bonding with Salman.
Salman recommending Sajid Nadiadwala to cast Zarine in the sequel of Housefull added fuel to fire. Sonakshi considers Zarine to be her rival solely because of her affection towards Salman Khan.
At the event Salman was busy with other friends and hence did not notice Sonakshi pushing the Veer girl.
As Zarine reacted, Sonakshi immediately stated that it was just an accident and she has not done it intentionally.

Kavita Radheshyam, the aspiring actress who is debuting with Vikram Bhatt’s forthcoming TV Series ‘Who Done It Uljhan’, is on the mission of raising public awareness on animal protection and prevention of cruelty towards them. The actress, who will be seen in films 'Paanch Ghante Mein Paanch Crore' and 'Om Allah', has gone backless and topless for the cause.
Recently, she has recently done a nude photoshoot in this regard, and is planning to make the pictures public soon.
Speaking about her act, she said that it was her protest in her own way to express anger towards the cruelty on animals that takes place in India.
Talking about how this idea struck her mind, she said “For animals, their clothes are their skin. When we are killing animals for their skin we are actually stripping them naked and that too for our convenience. I felt that it's high time that we too do something to save them from this cruelty and so I planned this photoshoot."
The actress has also appealed to PeTA to support her in her fight.

Superstar Rajinikanth, who suffered some stomach infection and was admitted to hospital earlier on Friday, has been discharged from hospital.
While returning home after the launch of his forthcoming film Rana, Rajinikanth felt uneasy and vomited a couple of times. He also had some fluctuations in his blood pressure and hence, he was admitted to St. Isabel's Hospital in Mylapore, Chennai as a precautionary measure.
The superstar is feeling better now, but the doctors advised him rest for a few days, a source said.

Last week after the music launch of Ready, Salman Khan decided to hold an impromptu bash at his house.
Leading lady Asin, as well as Zarine Khan who has done an item song in the film, got the invitation at the venue itself. Others received calls from Salman to join in the celebrations. Sonakshi Sinha joined the revellers at the Dabangg actor's pad later that night.
It has been reported that Sonakshi is super possessive about the actor and doesn't like other actresses cosying upto him. But this time she made a show of her anger. An eye-witness reveals, "She pushed Zarine, while walking past her, and then pretended that she hadn't even realised it!" It is known that Salman has a soft spot for both Sonakshi as well as Zarine and has been recommending their names to filmmakers. He is partial to them because they debuted with him — Zarine in Veer and Sona in Dabangg.
The insider continues, "It was such a sight. We thought a catfight would break out. We didn't know where to look and whether to laugh. When Sona first walked in, she walked past Zarine, without greeting her. Later when she saw that ZK was bonding with Salman and he was introducing her to all her friends, the Dabangg girl couldn't hide her irritation. Also the fact that Sallu got his buddy Sajid Nadiadwala to cast Zarine in Housefull 2 was still bothering her. Never mind the fact that he was instrumental in getting her a role in Shirish Kunder's Joker. Shilpa Shetty will host a party in Mumbai for UK hottie Elizabeth Hurley on May 17.
The British model-actress is currently in India to meet her good friend Shane Warne, who is captaining Shilpa's IPL team Rajasthan Royals. Liz goes back to London in a week's time but will return in time for RR's important match in Mumbai on May 17.
Shilpa hasn't been able to meet her at all. SS had planned to host a party for Liz in Jaipur but had to cancel it because of a severe pain in her neck as reported 'A pain in the neck'

Says a source, "She had a bad attack while travelling to Jaipur for a Rajasthan Royals match. When she returned, she couldn't get up or visit any RR matches after that.
To make matters worse, a muscular back spasm made it almost impossible for her to move out of her home much."
"Shilpa and Raj plan to throw a party for Liz at their bungalow in Juhu. A lavish dinner is being planned but it will be a simple, intimate affair as Shilpa will be still recuperating from her illness. She has been advised another week of bedrest but has already starting planning for the party."
Hurley, who joined Warne and RR during their Bangalore game on Tuesday, has bonded well with the owners and the team.
Says a source, "After Liz landed, she spent a couple of hours with Shane before he headed for practice and team meetings. He wrapped up early and joined her... they had lots to catch up on, given that they hadn't seen each other for almost a month."
After wowing us all with his robotic avatars in the last year’s superhit Endhiran, the south megastar Rajinikanth returns with his next film Rana.
The movie stars Deepika Padukone opposite Rajini. Two more actresses will be roped in as the film has Rajini playing a triple role - a young Rajini, a middle-aged Rajini and an older Rajini.
The first look of the film has been released, and it shows Rajini wielding a sword in a costume that gives a somewhat periodic look. In the background is a masked face.
Rana will be directed by K S Ravikumar. A R Rahman will compose the film’s music.

At the music release of Ready on Monday evening Zarine Khan clung to Salman's side with single-minded determination while the film's leading lady Asin maintained a discreet distance happy to let Ms Khan (who has only a guest appearance in the film) be the superstar's arm-candy for the evening.
Everyone knows Salman Khan was in his element at the music release of Ready on Monday evening at Film City.
But the actual fun began after the music release when Salman decided to have an impromptu bash in his pad that has been put up for him at Film City for the shooting of his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri's Bodyguard.
Asin and Zarine Khan immediately accompanied Salman to his very private den. But the interesting part of the spontaneous party was that Salman invited only the ladies at the venue.
The men were largely left out.
Says a source, “After the music release Salman suddenly announced it was party time at his Bodyguard pad which is inside the Film City premise.
Zarine Khan was by his side and Asin was a safe distance away. They both accompanied him to his pad for the party. Strangely all the female members of the Ready cast—and there are at least 15-18 prominent female characters in the film—were asked to join the party while their husbands and male companions got left behind.
Salman has formed a superb bonding with all the ladies in the cast. After a while Salman suddenly remembered the husbands and boyfriends waiting somewhere down below and asked the ladies to call them up. Even the Ready director Anees Bazmi just dropped in at the part for five minutes and left. The party continued till the wee hours of Tuesday morning. ”
When contacted to verify this amusing all-women invitees' list Asin laughed, “Well, it's true. Salman invited all the female actors from Ready. We all went up his very comfortable and large pad with a view.
It has a garden and it has a beautiful view outside. Salman makes a wonderful host. The ladies were all happy to be partying. Suddenly Salman remembered their husbands and invited them too.
It was great fun though I was the odd one out since I don't drink. After a while it gets boring for both me and the others guests to keep wondering why I am not drinking. ”
Asin is deeply impressed by Salman's bonding with the woman in the cast. “All the ladies who play his aunts and relatives just dote on him. He makes them all feel like part of his extended family. ”
In fact watching Salman create a family within the unit of Ready has made Asin feel homesick. She is going home.
Says Asin, “I am taking off for Kerala for a couple of weeks. At the moment I've no other Hindi film on hand. So I can afford the time off. ”
Asin has apparently been offered everything from Anurag Basu's Barfee to Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick. But after films with Aamir, Salman and Ajay Devgn she's at the moment looking at a film with a leading man of her own age group.
Apparently Asin has been offered Sajid Nadiadwala's 2 States with Shah Rukh Khan. Again, another generation altogether!!!
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan may not be Indian after all, if the claims of a Pakistani man are to be believed.
Jaffar Hussain, a resident of Nawanpind, Faisalabad (Pakistan), claims that Bachchan is his younger brother, according to a Geo News report.
Hussain says Bachchan, accompanied by one Amir Badshah, fled to Karachi and then crossed the border into the Indian port city of Mumbai when he was 14 years old.
He even claims that Bachchan’s ‘real name’ is Subh Sadiq and their father Abdul Haq, a goldsmith, had filed a complaint against Badshah in 1963.
According to Hussain, Bachchan always displayed a keen interest in films.
Bachchan, born on October 11, 1942, in Allahabad, is the eldest son of Harivansh Rai Bachchan, a renowned Hindi poet, and Teji Bachchan, who hailed from Faisalabad.
He schooling took place in Gyana Prabodhini and Boys High School, Allahabad and Sherwood College, Nainital. He graduated from Kirorimal College, Delhi University. Before coming to Mumbai and taking up an acting career, Bachchan was working in Bird and Co in Kolkata.
After sporting an image of dutiful nephew, Imran Khan sprang up a surprise when he begged to differ with mamujan Aamir with regards to Salman Khan. Unlike Aamir, Imran disapproves of intruding Salman’s personal space and push him towards marriage.
Interestingly, ‘maama-bhanja’ was just two kilometers away at different occasions in suburbs when Aamir said, “It’s high time for Salman Khan to get married. In fact, I think, his hands should be tied while his marriage ceremony so that there is no scope of him to escape.”
No sooner did Aamir comment on Salman than Imran as we mentioned above, some distance away too gave his opinion and said, “ I never intend to interfere in someone else’s personal life and people at the end of the day are entitled to their own decisions.”
“And same goes for Salman; I’m nobody to compel him for marriage. There is no point tying his hands as he won’t be happy at the end of the day,” Imran concludes.
The reality show certified lovers have finally parted ways
The affair started one torrid afternoon in the confines of a reality show house. And much like the many paperback romances, it blossomed in supersonic speed. Between fights, ego hassles, making up, intermittent nighttime cuddles and calls of ‘Aash- meet’, prospered a love story on prime time television.
Veena Malik, Indian televisions latest import from Pakistan and Ashmit Patel of the infamous MMS became reality television’s latest darlings.
The affair, which continued post the show with Veena delaying her return to her country, has just gone kaput. Uninvited for Ashmit’s sister Ameesha Patel’s big party held on Saturday, a very upset Veena left the city on Friday.
The affair had started to fizzle out long before that. , “It was a one-way affair from Veena’s side. She loved him, but he did not. I would say that they were never together,” says a friend of Ashmit.
Things started getting worse when Ashmit learned about Veena planting stories about them in the media. “This really bugged him. Ashmit didn’t want that kind of publicity,” informed Ashmit’s friend.
The couple however, did try to get lucky with their relationship while it was. When approached with a reality show offer worth Rs 30 lakh, the couple tried believing they were worth more, asked for Rs 50 lakh. The channel officials felt otherwise.
Despite everything, a friend close to both Veena and Ashmit claims they are friends, adding “Lekin pehle jaisa nahin hai.”
Ashmit remained unavailable for comment. Veena’s manager told us, “Yes, Veena is not in India. She left on Friday. She is in Dubai. She should be back after a week, hopefully.” Hopefully?
One of the most eligible bachelors of the Tamil film industry, Karthi Sivakumar is finally losing his single status. The Paruthiveeran star is all set to marry an Erode-based girl on July 3, 2011.
Karthi's father Sivakumar has announced the news that the actor is getting hitched to Ranjani, an MA gold medallist in English Literature from Stella Maris College, Chennai. In his press note, he requested all his colleagues and friends to bless the couple.
The 34-year-old actor had earlier said that he would go for an arranged marriage. Keeping his words Karthi has decided to tie the knot with a girl selected by his parents.
A Bollywood romantic film bearing the title Mausam can’t possibly do without a rain song. So there were Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor getting wet and frisky on the sets of the film last week.
In a remarkable display of professionalism, Sonam insisted on shooting the song in studio rain despite having recovered from poor health just days back. Obviously, everyone from the producer Sheetal Talwar to her co-star Shahid Kapoor and director Pankaj Kapur were very concerned and caring towards Sonam during the two days she shot for the rain sequence.
The shoot was held last week at Nitin Desai Studios in Karjat on the outskirts of Mumbai. All through the shoot, Shahid made sure Sonam did not catch cold. She was provided with a protection of warm clothes and steaming hot beverages.
Thankfully, Sonam remained in fine fettle. It was a health risk worth taking because the rain sequence had already been delayed by a month, and postponing it further would have meant a delay in the film’s completion. No wonder, Sonam’s gumption has the producer crooning her praises.
Actress Lara Dutta is not new to the ways that the film industry functions, but her hubby, ace tennis player turned film producer, Mahesh Bhupathi definitely is.
A source said that Lara has been telling everyone that a known name will make a guest appearance in her forthcoming film, which has been produced by Bhupathi. Though she managed to garner a little curiosity, she didn’t want to reveal the name till the film’s release.
But Bhupathi in his enthusiasm has been telling his near and dear friends that it is he who’ll be doing a cameo in the movie, revealed a source. This has apparently not gone down too well with Dutta.
“Yes, Mahesh Bhupathi has told his friends that he will be playing a cameo in the film and Lara Dutta is a bit upset because she wanted this to be a surprise for the audience. She also knows that such news gets leaked easily, which is why she was keeping mum about it till now. But since Mahesh Bhupathi is not from the industry, he doesn’t understand the need for secrecy in such matters,” explained the source.
But on the bright side, the couple seems to be spending a lot of time with each other — or at least seem to be jumping at every opportunity to be together. Bhupathi is keen to be with Dutta when she promotes the film and since he is the producer he can officially be with her, informs the source. “Both of them got busy with their individual commitments soon after they tied the knot. So this is the best way to be with each other at the moment. And they’re loving every minute of it!” concluded the source.
Members of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena targeted Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday by disrupting the shooting of the film `Bbuddah`, being produced by the actor`s production house, AB Corp.
The cine wing of the party which is led by Raj Thakeray, stalled the shooting of upcoming film ‘Bbuddah’ which stars the actor in the lead. The shooting was going on at United Mills in Mumbai when MNS activists stormed the sets. The activists disrupted the work on the set alleging that foreigners with no work permit were part of a song sequence.
Speaking to a daily, a member of the cine wing of MNS said, "We found out that most of the foreigners shooting on the film set were without work permits. We filed a complaint with Shivaji Park police station and requested them to raid the set. All the papers of the 17 foreigners on the set have been confiscated and taken by the police which are being verified."
Ameya Khopkar, president of the cine wing of the MNS said, "We will not allow Amitabh Bachchan to shoot as what his company has done is completely illegal and against the law. Here our people are not getting work and his company is hiring foreigners who don`t have work permits and there are some whose visas have expired in 2009."
Khopkar further said, "The film unit has not even taken permission for the shooting from the local police which is mandatory for any film shoot. We have lodged our complaint and the police has promised to take against the AB Corp."
DCP S Mahavarkar has stated that the police are investigating the complaint and papers of the foreigners working on the film set are being examined at present.
Actor Saif Ali Khan relives his character Rohit Patel from the film Kal Ho Naa Ho, where he and actor Shahrukh Khan were seen romancing on-screen to fill in fun in the film. Reportedly, the actor will once again be seen flirting with a male co-star in his home production Agent Vinod.
Saif, who plays a spy in the film, will seduce a man to get his work done in Agent Vinod. The actor will be taking bold moves in order to fill in the script for his most ambitious project till date. Reportedly, Kunal Khemu, to be brother-in-law of Saif, will also be seen playing an important role in the film.
Agent Vinod is slated to release on December 9, 2011. The film is being directed by Sriram Raghavan and stars real life couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in it.
Her dreams of remaking the foreign film Priceless , has just been shattered, she might buy the rights of a Hindi movie now
A French film had inspired Katrina Kaif's so much that the actress had decided to turn producer and remake the film for Bollywood. Rumours of the actress casting her sister Isabel in the film were also afoot.
However, it so happens that her French connection has just been spoilt. Thanks to the unresponsive people in the other country who she was dealing with.
While Katrina had always remained tightlipped about the film she wanted to buy, industry insiders speculated it to be the 2002 film He Loves Me...He Loves Me Not starring popular French actress Audrey Tatou (of Amelie fame).
However, Kat herself broke her silence and later revealed that she wanted to buy the remake rights of the 2006 French movie Priceless.
And after months of going back and forth, the deal as of today, stands cancelled.
The people in question simply stopped reverting to the Bollywood actress. "It was ridiculous. Katrina is an A-list actress in Bollywood. They should have dealt with the proceedings very tactfully," revealed a source close to Kat.
Tired of the unprofessional behaviour, Katrina too, has eventually given up on her French dream. "She gave lot of time and energy to this project.
She had even thought of a few directors who could handle the subject beautifully. She has every reason to be exasperated now. She has given up on Priceless, " added our source.
However, this setback has not managed to squash Katrina's dream of turning producer. "She is very much open to other films. She is quite a film buff and sees a lot of foreign films. Who knows, she might even pick up a Hindi film and remake it," informed the source.

Shooting for Agneepath was stalled after the actor went bleary-eyed when he got gulaal thrown in his eyes! A doctor had to be summoned on the sets.
A unit member reveals, "The shooting was on in Versova on Monday afternoon for the Ganpati sequence that earlier saw the actor suffer minor burns while handling a thali as reported 'All fired up'.
In this particular scene, some of the junior artistes got caught up in the moment and one of them flung colour in Duggu's eyes.
The stunned actor began screaming in pain. Pandemonium followed even as director Karan Malhotra immediately stopped the shooting."
Immense pain
The source adds that Karan made Hrithik sit down in a chair. "Water was splashed on the actor to wash the colour from his eyes. When that didn't work, cold towels and cotton wool was brought in to wipe the gulal out. All this while, HR was screaming in agony. A doctor was finally called in and painkillers were administered."
Shaken up
Shooting resumed only after an hour. "This is the first time that something has happened to Duggu's eyes and he was very shaken up about it. Producer Karan Johar wanted to wrap up for the day but Roshan insisted that he was fine and left the shoot only after his work was done. He visited his eye specialist yesterday to make sure everything was fine." The star remained unavailable for comment.
Actor Salman Khan once again shows his 'being human' side. During the music launch of his film Ready, on Monday, the actor felicitated the workers living in the Film City. He invited them to the music launch and honoured them with clothes.
Salman told to the reporters, “When I was shooting for my film Bodyguard, I realised that there are so many people who work day in and day out and when we organise events we call such people, who don't even appreciate anything. So I thought that we should call those people who work here."
He added, "Ideas just come to my idea, so this time I thought why not felicitate the people of film city because these are the people who are the masses also and have also been a part of the film. We have shared such a long relationship with them and no one invites them for any events."
The workers of the film city were overwhelmed by this gesture of Salman Khan and felt proud after being honoured by the entire cast and crew of Anees Bazmee's Ready. Above all, the sight that touched the hearts of millions was when Salman opened the chocolate boxes and fed the workers' children with his own hand.
Asin told, “I feel very happy to be in front of the film city workers who have helped us make the film that we have made. It takes a lot of pride and pleasure to showcase our trailers and songs in front of all of them.”
Ready is all set to release on June 3. The film stars, Asin Thottumkal, Zarine Khan and Salman Khan.
Katrina Kaif has slammed rumours that she approached actor-director Pankaj Kapoor for a role in his directorial debut 'Mausam'.
"This is entirely untrue," Katrina, who is currently working on Zoya Akhtar's 'Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara' and Yash Raj's 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan', said in a statement.
Added a source: "The news is utter rubbish. Katrina is in a position to pick and choose roles of her choice. She never lobbied for the role in 'Mausam' and such rumours are spread by sources with vested interests."
'Mausam' stars Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor and is up for release in July this year.

Buzz is that Salman Khan will be playing a spy agent with super powers in Kabir Khan's next. For weeks, there has been speculation surrounding the nature of his role in the film.
While producers Yash Raj maintains that the cast isn't in place, a source reveals that Sallu's character is a spy agent with the ability to do superhuman things. Interesting, given that his foe Shah Rukh Khan is playing a super hero in his next Ra.One
Apparently, Khan is looking for fresher roles. When Kabir's film came to him, he was excited because of the superhero angle. A source close to the actor reveals, "The film will be shot all around the world at different locations. It's an espionage thriller on the lines of X-Men where Salman plays an undercover officer as a spy who also has super abilities that are hidden from others. The film will have a lot of special effects."
At the moment Kabir and Salman are having several meetings regarding the look and nature of this particular character. Kabir Khan refused to confirm on the nature of Salman's role but cheekily said, "Salman is always a superhero!"
While the Yashraj spokesperson maintained, "the cast is not final yet. We will make an announcement when it is finalised."

Indian bowler who loves to dance in award functions, Sreesanth has recently been spotted getting a bit too close to Sharon Prabhakar and Alyque Padamsee's daughter Shazahn.
The girl who made her big Bollywood debut in YRF's Rocket Singh was seen painting the town red with the young cricketer.
On Friday, April 22, an eyewitness tipped off Mumbai Mirror, "Shazahn and Sreesanth have gone for a drive in South Mumbai. They are sitting pretty close."
One must note that Sreesath who last played for Kochi against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede, this IPL on April 15 has fallen in love with the city since then. He has been spotted in Mumbai on and off since the last match.
Shazahn too, has smartly kept away from the ongoing matches. Though the girl did meet up with her new friend afterwards. When contacted, the actress did not even deny it. She confirmed that the two had been driving around the city after the matches.
But when asked whether there was anything romantic, the girl promptly replied, "Oh, Sreesanth and I are just good friends. I am busy with my career. I am very much single. Can I call you back?"
Call back she did. And we asked her whether she found Sreesanth handsome. "Well, I can't comment on that," she quipped and quickly added, "He is sweet."
When asked how she got to know the cricketer, Shazahn shot back, "I can't tell you that."
Earlier, Shazahn was dating TV actor Aakashdeep Seagal (of Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame). Not so long ago, she was also linked up with her co-actor Dhruv Bhandari from her second Bollywood movie, Madhur Bhandarkar's Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji.

Bhajji and Geeta Basra link up is in news for a long time now. Now the news is that Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh will tie the knot after seven months. The duo consulted an astrologer, both Bhajji and Geeta’s kundali was studied and matched. This is HR's second accident on the sets of the Karan Johar production. He hurt his hand while breaking a coconut in an earlier scene. His accidents have proved lucky for his films in the past. We wonder if it will bring luck to this one too.
All in a day's work
A source recounts what happened: "Hrithik was shooting the Ganapati puja scene. He was holding a big thali with several lit diyas (lamps) and doing the aarti. During one rotation, one diya toppled over, spilling hot oil on his hand, scalding it.
No one was any wiser for it until Duggu rushed to apply ice on the affected area. When the crew understood, the shoot was immediately stopped. It wasn't a serious injury but Hrithik was in pain. He resumed shooting as soon as his pain subsided. He then joked about his injuries being lucky charms for his films."
Yesterday, on the second day of shooting the scene, "PC's lehenga caught fire from the diyas of aarti and got burnt at the edges. She noticed it quickly and wasn't hurt but had to change her lehenga and wear a new one," reveals another source. Hrithik and PC were unavailable for comment.
Normally, he doesn’t shy to do bold scene, but this time actor Imran Khan has rejected a request in which he has to appear with a semi-nude women.
The news coming out that the actor was of late approached by a magazine to feature as their cover boy.
Moreover the magazine is famous for feature only females on their cover wanted to make an exception for the actor but Imran declined the request.
The reason apparently is that the theme for the photo-shoot was debauchery where Imran Khan was required to shoot in company of naked women. The young actor seemed uncomfortable with such a shoot.
No wonder when the actor was approached with the concept of debauchery, he balked at the idea. “Apart from stressing on the fact that he couldn’t agree to such a shoot, he also pointed out that it negated the very notion of loyalty they associated him with. But since they were keen to feature him, he conveyed to them that he would re-consider their offer if they ensure that the women will be clothed at least in short outfits,” reveals our informer. We tried contacting Imran, but he didn’t revert to our text messages.
