Katrina responds to 'passport' taunt

Who's been talking about her foreign origins? 

Katrina Kaif has said there was nothing special in her passport, after Deepika Padukone joked that she would like to have a look at it, in a possible reference to her foreign origins.

"There is nothing in my passport, everybody can see it," Katrina told reporters at the music launch of her film 'Tees Maar Khan'. The event was held on a train that ran from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal (CST) to Lonavala.

Deepika's comments will be aired in an upcoming episode of Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee with Karan'.

Bips loves both tags, sexy and beautiful

Bipasha Basu is one actress who is really grounded. Unlike other stars who hip, hop and get entangled with various actors to get onto the Bollywood map, she has always remained attached, attracted and in a stable relationship with John. This is very evident as they have never kept their love life or their live-in relationship under wraps.

Ask her what is that one thing which has kept her close to John even today? ”Nothing but love. Love is supreme. We understand each other so well that it ensures our togetherness. Moreover, love is above all. There is no other defining factor.”

Next we quiz if she thinks of herself as sexy or beautiful? Pat comes the reply, “I adore and admire all these adjectives coming my way! Men and women praise me and I am happy with it.” Nevertheless she did not choose any one. So it goes without saying she prefers both being called sexy as well as beautiful. 

Ask Bipasha to rate herself as an actress and she candidly replies, “If you ask me my rating for acting, I would give myself a clear 7/10, as I am learning new things every day. Learning is a never-ending process. I still think I have a lot more to do, I am yet to perform various characters and I am looking forward to doing all kind of films,” she signs off.

Ash has security scare

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's fans went out of control in Kolkata where she travelled to over the weekend to promote her forthcoming film.

The doors and windows of the venue were broken down by people who went berserk to get a glimpse of the superstar. However, the security guards made sure that things did not go out of control and checked the mob before they could encircle Ash.

Interestingly on the 19th of this month, the date when Guzaarish releases, Ash will complete 16 years of winning the Miss World crown. 2010 has been eventful for Ash as she recently delivered the blockbuster Robot that had the iconic Rajnikanth and she also won acclaim for two other big films.

Bebo, Saif to marry in 2012!

Kareena Kapoor talks about getting married to Saif in 2012, acting with Shahid in the future if the role is juicy and why family is over the Bachchans.

Do you think hits or flops do not matter to your career graph anymore?

I don't know about that but getting a blockbuster is a great feeling. When your character is appreciated, it is another high. But flop ka bhi maaza kuch aur hai. I have always given importance to my performance over my hits. In this industry you can stretch only to a certain limit but after that you have to be an actor to sustain it.

Have you discussed marriage with Saif?

Of course, I talk to Saif and my family. Saif is extremely supporting and he jokes that marriage is a taboo in our film industry. Surely, there are norms that we can break but the fact is that the film fraternity considers a married actress a taboo. Saif is so busy with his production and his films, so a wedding will happen but after a year maybe.

So you'll get married in 2012 then?

Yes, probably the year when the world is supposed to end. But yes, I won't deny the fact that I think about it.

You are not a part of any camp as such?

(Laughs) I have my own camp. I think I respect all the Khans and they respect me for my work. Friendship aside, I am here to work and sell my talent. So, anyone can pick and take my talent. Moreover, I don't socialize with anyone. My camps are Saif, my family, my niece and my nephew.

Recently Abhishek and you patched up. However he had said that he doesn't want to work with you. What's your equation with him now?

I am very fond of Abhishek. He is my first co-star and these certain things that are irreplaceable. He did his first shot with me and no one can try and change that. I just feel that Abhishek should just do what he wants to do. If he is uncomfortable working with me then I am okay with that.

I think Abhishek is one of the warmest people that I have ever met and we speak when we meet socially. I want him to be happy. Aishwarya has been very sweet to me and even said some nice things about me on Karan's show. I think we have grown above what has happened and our families have also grown above that. I just wish him well.

Will you do a film with Shahid if you are offered one?

I am a professional actor and that's my profession. If I have a great role, I will consider. Of course I won't say that it will be easy.

I would be lying that it's easy and uncomplicated, it is complicated but I would love to work with him.

He is a lovely actor and I want to see him up there. I think he was spectacular in Kaminey.

Katrina refuses to smooch Hrithik!

She can sizzle on-screen with her extra oomph and seductive moves in 'Sheela Ki Jawani(Tees Maar Khan)' but Katrina shys away when she is asked to do a steamy lip-lock scene.

Reportedly, Kat has vowed not to do a lip to lip kiss with any actor in the industry and will not kiss on-screen at any cost.

The actress has a reputation of telling filmamkers politely that she is not at all comfortable doing smooches as she says it's too intimate a moment.

Buzz was that Katrina had to do a steamy smooching scene with Hrithik Roshan in Zoya Akhtar's 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'.

However, Kat denied all such reports and said that such a scene doesn't even exist in the film.

A source said that Katrina is not against lip kissing or smooches but she has a strict policy of not doing it at all.

Evidently, the intimate scene that Kat shared with Hrithik Roshan was just a trick of the camera angles

Analysts say that Katrina's career is already stable and going great so even if she experiements with her sex appeal and goes bold, it'll not make much of a difference.

Ranbir admires Deepika for tattoo

Though Deepika Padukone is quite candid about her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor and has expressed her bitterness through various ways, Ranbir, on the other hand, has never spoken about it.

Now, for the first time after his break-up, the Kapoor lad has opened up in front of Karan Johar during his show Koffee With Karan.

As Deepika still hasn’t erased the RK tattoo on her nape, Ranbir told Karan, “I have had one of the most wonderful relationships with Deepika that lasted for more than two years. It’s brave of her to keep the RK tattoo intact even after we have parted ways.”

Karan also had Sonam Kapoor and Deepika for another episode. These two actresses have shared cold vibes since the release of their debut films. But during the shooting of the episode they enjoyed discussing Ranbir. If Deepika wanted to gift him ‘a packet of condoms’, Sonam apparently said he can’t remain ‘faithful’, but can be a good friend.

Ranbir along with Imran Khan had recently shot for Koffee With Karan. The episode will be telecast this Sunday.

Ranbir behind Priyanka-Shahid split

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra called off their relationship after an alleged fight over Ranbir Kapoor that got out of hand

While Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have definitely called off their relationship, no one knows as to what triggered the decision.

Apparently, the couple had a big fight over Ranbir Kapoor during the last days of their relationship.

Priyanka had gotten quite friendly, it seems, with Ranbir Kapoor while shooting for Siddharth Anand’s Anjaana Anjaani; she also went ahead and signed another film opposite Ranbir during this time, Anurag Basu’s Silence. All this did not go down well with Shahid.

Says a source, “Shahid was getting jealous and increasingly uncomfortable about Priyanka’s growing proximity to Ranbir. He then confronted Priyanka about Ranbir.”

Apparently, when confronted, Priyanka retort was a very strong one. She told Shahid, ‘You have many friends who are girls. Do I mind that? And more importantly, you haven’t committed to me yet. Then why are you objecting to my friendship with Ranbir?’. It was post this fight that thw two decided to end their relationship and go their separate ways.

It may be recalled that a few days before Anjaana Anjaani hit the theatres, Shahid was rumoured to be very miffed about the Priyanka-Ranbir kiss in the film.

The source adds, “The problem in Shahid and Priyanka’s relationship was not just the fact that they happen to be very strong individuals with different tastes, but also that both of them had never committed to each other. There was possessiveness from both sides, but no commitment in the offing.

That hastened the end to their relationship soon after the fight over Ranbir. Shahid and Priyanka had many ups and downs in their relationship, but this time it’s final; even their common friends are not mediating now. It’s all over.”

Now they are anjaana anjaani.

Akshaye to woo Anil Kapoor!

After a stellar performance in ‘Aakrosh’, Akshaye Khanna is all set to tickle your funny bone by crawling into a girl’s skin and woo, guess who? – Anil Kapoor!

In his upcoming laugh riot, ‘No Problem’, versatile Akshaye pulls off a yet another amusing act after ‘Hulchul’ and ‘Hungama’. Sources say that even though the film has ample funny moments, one scene in particular stands out completely as Akshaye is seen transformed into sexy girl, much to the fancies of Anil Kapoor’s character.

After playing several intense and comic roles, this is the first time the audience will get to see Akshaye in this completely new avatar.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Anil Kapoor’s co-production venture ‘No Problem’ is set to hit screens on December 10.

Apart from Akshaye Khanna and Anil Kapoor, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sushmita Sen, Kangna Ranaut among others. Anees Bazmee is famous for hits like ‘No Entry’, ‘Welcome’ and ‘Singh Is Kinng’.

Ruhail, Bollywood Trade Editorial Calling her gorgeous is an understatement. Bipasha Basu, who has been Bollywood's sex siren for long has an uglier side too. No, we are not saying this; it's the actress herself who feels this way.

Recently, in a freewheeling chat, when Bips was asked what she hates the most about herself, the actress without thinking much pointed towards her feet. According to Bipasha her feet are among her most unattractive features. The actress says, "My feet are big, broad and flat. They are so ugly. My mother calls me a peacock because it's beautiful but has ugly feet."

While Bips might have revealed her most unattractive secret, we wonder does it really bring down her hot quotient? Well, the answer is a big no. The way she continues to woo men and women with her screen presence and otherwise is the proof of her undying attraction.

Ashmit has handled nasty Bigg Boss inmates maturely: Ameesha

Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel says her younger brother Ashmit who is locked up in the 'Bigg Boss' house and was recently the target of inmate Dolly Bindra's loud and nasty comments about his past has handled the situation in a very mature manner.

Ashmit, who is one of the contestants in the Colors reality show "Bigg Boss", was involved in an MMS scandal in the past.

"I think he has done a good job, he has been very honest about everything and of course you have those nasty people who always try to create controversies; but I think my brother has handled it in a very mature way," Ameesha, who was here to present designer Rocky S' collection.

"I am following the 'Bigg Boss' show regularly because that is the only place where I get to see my brother, as we are not allowed to talk to him, no mobile or landline facility."

Ameesha also very sportingly tagged her brother as the "hot eye-candy" of the "Bigg Boss" house, who has been romantically linked to TV actress Sara khan and Pakistani actress Veena Mallik.

"I think he has got the right combination of being a friend and a flirt to everybody inside and I think it is great. I hear it often from other's that your brother is the only hot person and eye-candy in the house.

"Girls better chase him because if he is not flirting back then there is something wrong with him - he is not my brother. And everybody knows it is a show at the end of the day; it is not that he is going to get a bride back home."

The 35-year-old also admits she guides her brother on how to handle and deal with women.

"I have always told him to respect a woman and never hurt her feelings. There is no harm in healthy flirting till the time it makes the other one feel special. I don't like women getting insulted and have always advised him not to do that."

"Bigg Boss 4", being shot at a house in Lonavala, started Oct 3 with 13 contestants in a house without any communication with the outside world. The contestants are under constant camera surveillance. Ten contestants now remain on the show after three weeks.
