Deepika searching House close to Sid

These days, Deepika Padukone has indulged herself in the process of buying a new house in Prabhadevi. Despite the fact that she owns a 2BHK flat in Bandra, Deeps is looking at getting her a pad in mid-town.

Deepika was heard telling one of her friends that the Bandra-Worli Sea Link has been quite helpful as commuting to the suburbs is no more a problem.

Though, she hasn’t signed any deal yet, it is said that Deepika is in love with the place and is most likely to sign the papers soon. Or is it all because she wanted to stay close to her new beau Siddharth Mallya who stays in Colaba.

Katrina fights with Ranbir over co-star

All is not well between lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. We hear that the two are on 'maun vrat' and haven't spoken to each other for a few days. The fight was over his Rockstar co-star Nargis Fakhri (unfortunate name, eh?) While RK maintains that he and the newbie are just friends, Kat thinks otherwise.

Perhaps because the Kapoor boy has been spending a lot of time with Ms Nargis even on days they are not shooting. This has irked Kat. Earlier, RK would answer her calls promptly, but of late, they have been going on missed calls which aren't returned. It seems like the two are on a break and things will get back to normal only when Ranbir promises to keep his distance from Nargis.

Katrina Kaif needs to develop some claws. Her diplomacy isn't helping her. In the upcoming episode of Koffee with Karan, when the host asked Deepika Padukone if she had a message for Kat, she said, "No. but I have a question. Can I see your passport?" It is clear that Ranbir's ex is taking a potshot at his 'older' girlfriend Katrina. When, at the music launch of Tees Maar Khan, someone asked Kat for her reaction, it was: "There is nothing in my passport, everybody can see it!" We'd like to see her phone. Wonder if she will offer that as willingly?

Aishwarya down with fever

Aishwarya Rai, who was supposed to arrive in New Delhi today (November 16) to promote her upcoming film 'Guzaarish', had to cancel her trip at the last minute due to fever.

The actress has been jetsetting for promoting the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, in which she plays a nurse named Sofia.

"Aishwarya is not travelling to Delhi. She is down with fever. She has had a hectic week of promotions," her spokesperson said.

The 37-year-old was travelling November 11-13 and went to Dubai and London for a day each. After reaching Mumbai November 13 afternoon, she packed her bags to promote the film in Kolkata the next day.

Before the promotions for 'Guzaarish', she was also busy promoting her other big films 'Action Replayy' and 'Robot'.

Her co-star Hrithik Roshan too has been under the weather, but he accompanied Bhansali for the press conference in the Indian capital.

'Guzaarish', a story about a magician who becomes quadriplegic when one of his tricks goes wrong, will release Friday, November 19.

Priyanka retorts to marriage rumor

Priyanka Chopra slamming rumours of her marriage has said that she is too young for it as of now. The 28-year-old tinsel town beauty is quite annoyed by the buzz that she has given her consent for marriage and her parents are in search of a suitable groom.

 Amused at the rumors, the desi girl says,"It`s actually quite amusing how much momentum this particular rumour has gathered. But it`s completely ridiculous. Of course, like any girl I`d want to be married some day but for god`s sake I`m only in my 20s and for an actress that`s like being a teenager.”

Not denying the fact that  her parents like any other girl’s parents want her to get settled, the actress adds,"My parents have been wanting me to be married since I was born and have been coaxing me since I was old enough to understand the concept...Like any normal Punjabi family.”

Priyanka quips,"I don`t plan my life, so I don`t know. It will happen whenever the right guy comes along and sweeps me off my feet...whenever destiny permits.”

The beauty is right now quite busy with her upcoming projects. She will be next seen in a challenging role in Vishal Bharadwaj`s ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ and also in Sharukh starrer Don 2. The Bolywood babe has also signed Anurag Basu’s Silence opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

Gets draped in just a white satin sheet for Sheila Ki Jawani

Farah Khan has managed to do the impossible. Make Katrina Kaif drop her clothes and be clad in just a white satin sheet.

Farah says, "Sheila Ki Jawani was supposed to be a raunchy item Bhojpuri kind of song as Katrina's a wannabe actress acting in sleazy films but the song shaped out to be classy and a mix between Chicago and Broadway.

I have never seen Katrina looking both hot and sensuous at the same time. In her earlier films, she's dressed mostly like a Barbie doll.

Katrina really trusted me and didn't argue even once when I told her what she had to wear. She just told me that she needs to start working out and tone her body more.

I never told Katrina to lose weight. We shot Sheila Ki Jawani in five days and every day we had a new set and new costumes. For the satin bed sheet, we had a 10 feet rotating bed with the men around her.

She would shoot with us and then go and work out at 11.30 pm so that her abs would be toned. Her dedication is tremendous. She didn't feel awkward with so many men around.

The more they screamed and cheered for her, the more she got a high and her energy levels increased."

Minnisha and Mallika to star in Contract

Bollywood actresses going down south to try their luck in South Indian cinema is not an unheard news. From Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who started out with a Mani Ratnam's South Indian flick, to Katrina Kaif, every leading Bollywood actress has ventured down south. Though the growth of the Sandalwood film industry in South India has been slow, it has not prevented filmmakers and producers from investing large amount of money, which go into the making of good films.

The latest addition to the list of big budget movies made in Sandalwood is Contract. It not only boasts of a whopping budget of Rs. 15 crore, but also stars some of the popular young faces from Bollywood. According to reports, Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba has been roped in to play the lead role in the upcoming Sandalwood venture.

Romancing her onscreen is Arjun, who is all set to stage a comeback to Sandalwood with Contract. The Bollywood connection in Contract does not end with Minnisha though. Joining her will be Mallika Sherawat, who will reportedly do an item number for the Ramachandra production. The producer candidly admits that he initially had actress Anushka Sharma in mind for Minnisha Lamba’s role in Contract.

However, with things not working out between the crew and Anushka, the next best option was Minnisha. With names like Arjun, Minnisha Lamba and Mallika Sherawat to boast of and a million dollar budget set aside for the film Contract sure sounds like a superhit in the making.

Katrina responds to 'passport' taunt

Who's been talking about her foreign origins? 

Katrina Kaif has said there was nothing special in her passport, after Deepika Padukone joked that she would like to have a look at it, in a possible reference to her foreign origins.

"There is nothing in my passport, everybody can see it," Katrina told reporters at the music launch of her film 'Tees Maar Khan'. The event was held on a train that ran from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal (CST) to Lonavala.

Deepika's comments will be aired in an upcoming episode of Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee with Karan'.

Bips loves both tags, sexy and beautiful

Bipasha Basu is one actress who is really grounded. Unlike other stars who hip, hop and get entangled with various actors to get onto the Bollywood map, she has always remained attached, attracted and in a stable relationship with John. This is very evident as they have never kept their love life or their live-in relationship under wraps.

Ask her what is that one thing which has kept her close to John even today? ”Nothing but love. Love is supreme. We understand each other so well that it ensures our togetherness. Moreover, love is above all. There is no other defining factor.”

Ash has security scare

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's fans went out of control in Kolkata where she travelled to over the weekend to promote her forthcoming film.

The doors and windows of the venue were broken down by people who went berserk to get a glimpse of the superstar. However, the security guards made sure that things did not go out of control and checked the mob before they could encircle Ash.

Interestingly on the 19th of this month, the date when Guzaarish releases, Ash will complete 16 years of winning the Miss World crown. 2010 has been eventful for Ash as she recently delivered the blockbuster Robot that had the iconic Rajnikanth and she also won acclaim for two other big films.

Bebo, Saif to marry in 2012!

Kareena Kapoor talks about getting married to Saif in 2012, acting with Shahid in the future if the role is juicy and why family is over the Bachchans.

Do you think hits or flops do not matter to your career graph anymore?

I don't know about that but getting a blockbuster is a great feeling. When your character is appreciated, it is another high. But flop ka bhi maaza kuch aur hai. I have always given importance to my performance over my hits. In this industry you can stretch only to a certain limit but after that you have to be an actor to sustain it.

Have you discussed marriage with Saif?

Of course, I talk to Saif and my family. Saif is extremely supporting and he jokes that marriage is a taboo in our film industry. Surely, there are norms that we can break but the fact is that the film fraternity considers a married actress a taboo. Saif is so busy with his production and his films, so a wedding will happen but after a year maybe.

So you'll get married in 2012 then?

Yes, probably the year when the world is supposed to end. But yes, I won't deny the fact that I think about it.

You are not a part of any camp as such?

(Laughs) I have my own camp. I think I respect all the Khans and they respect me for my work. Friendship aside, I am here to work and sell my talent. So, anyone can pick and take my talent. Moreover, I don't socialize with anyone. My camps are Saif, my family, my niece and my nephew.

Recently Abhishek and you patched up. However he had said that he doesn't want to work with you. What's your equation with him now?

I am very fond of Abhishek. He is my first co-star and these certain things that are irreplaceable. He did his first shot with me and no one can try and change that. I just feel that Abhishek should just do what he wants to do. If he is uncomfortable working with me then I am okay with that.

I think Abhishek is one of the warmest people that I have ever met and we speak when we meet socially. I want him to be happy. Aishwarya has been very sweet to me and even said some nice things about me on Karan's show. I think we have grown above what has happened and our families have also grown above that. I just wish him well.

Will you do a film with Shahid if you are offered one?

I am a professional actor and that's my profession. If I have a great role, I will consider. Of course I won't say that it will be easy.

I would be lying that it's easy and uncomplicated, it is complicated but I would love to work with him.

He is a lovely actor and I want to see him up there. I think he was spectacular in Kaminey.
