Saif and Kareena's relationship on the rocks!

They have been considered as one of the most desired couple on screen and off screen. But recently Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's four year old relationship is going through the rough patch.

A source says, “They are having some issues. They have been arguing and fighting a lot, more than normal couples do. And it isn't healthy. One of the reasons for the differences is that they are not being able to spend time with each other. Bebo has always been the busier one (by choice) and Saif had no qualms about being with her on the outdoors of her films, whenever time permits. But since he began shooting for his last two films — Aarakshan and Cocktail — things haven't been the same.”

A source close to the couple adds,“The other matter is delicate. It's about the money being spent by the actress. While Saif doesn't mind splurging on his girl, he doesn't quite feel the same way about shelling out for her family's holidays etc. Especially now when he has been feeling the financial pressure with his second production Agent Vinod getting delayed. He was to shoot in seven countries before. But that changed and the budget was scaled down majorly. Before he left for his London outdoor, the couple had a huge fight about finances.”

It is also said that Saif is upset because Kareena has not got enough time to spend with him. Every year they used to go on holidays but this year Bebo is too busy shooting with Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. She is also occupied with endorsements and promotional events which leaves no time with her.

The source adds, "While the mid-yearly holiday in July appears impossible, even a Christmas holiday for Kareena looks difficult now as she starts promotions for Aamir's film then."

A source from Bodyguard informs, “One day Kareena broke down while talking to him on the phone. She was emotional, and crying.” Saif likes doing one or two films in a year, and likes his holidays and breaks in between. But this year, it looks impossible given her schedule, and he is irritated about that.”

The source adds that Bebo has been advised to make time for her man if she wants to save her relationship. And that's one of the reasons why she took off to London. "It wasn't just for Madame Tussauds as projected. It was a work-cum-pleasure trip — taken to appease Saif in the wake of their fights and spend some quality time with him. Everyone close to the pair is hoping that they will sail through this rough patch and stay happily ever after."

Anushka seems all set for another blockbuster

Is she YRF’s new favourite?

She got a dream debut in 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan. And since then, Anushka Sharma has never looked back. Apparently, the latest addition to her steadily rising graph is another blockbuster-in-the-making from the Yash Raj Films camp.

Allegedly, she has signed on to play the second female lead in a YRF movie where the main part is with Katrina Kaif. Anushka's rapport with YRF helped in making her an obvious choice for directors Yash and Aditya Chopra’s much-talked about yet-to-be-titled project. Supposedly, Anushka will now join Shah Rukh and Katrina, in Yash Chopra’s first directorial project since 'Veer Zaara', in 2004.

If the rumours mills are to be believed, the script required a strong actress for the second lead in the film - someone who looks younger than Katrina Kaif and there are very few actresses, who fit the bill.

With this project, Anushka will be working for the fifth time with YRF and she will also become the only actress to work with both Yash and Aditya Chopra at the same time, unlike Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Aishwarya Rai and Preity Zinta.

Where’s Kat!

Just as much as I adore being Queen Bee, so does Kat. But she isn’t anymore, the poor thing has been suddenly finding herself out of favour. She should know the B’wood scene by now. Ek picture flop hone par yahi hota hai. Despite the frantic belly-wiggling of Sheila Ki Jawani, Kat has lost her title of “the actress with the Midas touch” post the debacle of Tees Maar Khan. Suddenly the buzz surrounding her has dimmed a tad, evident from her multi-starrer Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Honestly, dearies, the entire promotion of the film has been so confused and it’s obvious the makers can’t decide on whose name they want to sell the film — Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar or the banner, known for making upmarket entertainers. Unsurprisingly, Abhay Deol is nowhere in the picture and surprisingly, neither is Kat. I must confess I was astonished to see just a glimpse or two of her in the film… Wonder whether the length of her role is as blink-and-miss as the one in Blue, which we all know she did just for Akki. I do hope she gets better treatment when she returns a few months down the line as Imran Khan’s dulhan. Till then she must be hoping: Kassh yeh zindagi mil jaaye dobara!

Salman Voted Bollywood's Perfect Father Figure

So what if Bollywood star Salman Khan is single? He has been voted the 'perfect father figure' in a survey by online matrimony portal Shaadi.com, ahead of Father's Day Sunday.

The Indian youth were asked who they feel would make an ideal Indian celebrity father, and 39 percent of the respondents chose Salman - perhaps thanks to his large-heartedness and compassionate nature.

"The poll reflects the mindset of today's youth. Although times are changing, qualities like generosity and masculinity are still admired as 'fatherly' traits amongst Indians," Gourav Rakshit, business head, Shaadi.com, said in a press statement.

The survey clearly reveals that India wants to see the dabangg Salman ready to take on a new role in real life and settle down with a family.

For the 'perfect father figure' title, Salman won over charismatic Congressman Rahul Gandhi, who received a close 31 percent votes.

Other contenders in the survey were actor Ranbir Kapoor and cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli. However, they received merely 12.5, 9.2 and 7.4 percent votes, respectively, indicating that they are still considered as eligible bachelors, and not yet ready to take on fatherhood.

The poll received responses from over 9820 Shaadi.com members across India.

Poonam Pandey laughs at leaked MMS

Poonam pandey's supposed 'strip act' in an MMS of hers has gone viral, and it has seen over 23,000 hits.

The MMS was uploaded on Tuesday, and a few hours later, Poonam tweeted, saying, "Check out Poonam Pandeys MMS... DONT KNOW HOW TO REACT ON THIS FEEL LIKE LOL.(sic)" Poonam, told us, "I was doing a bikini shoot for a mag when this was made. Someone shot it like a ghost and posted it. I felt bad initially, but then I thought, it's okay.

Let them post it and watch it. I laughed at it. You find it funny also, the extent to which people go to make videos of you."

SRK takes you back in time

Here's a gift from Shah Rukh Khan for the audiences. Red Chillies Entertainment's Always Kabhi Kabhi, presented by Eros International, is a young and fresh film that shows the joys and the problems that the youth of today face.

A first-of-its-kind film by SRK, it's set against the backdrop of a high school and has four new faces Zoa Morani, Giselle Monteiro, Ali Fazal and Satyajeet Dubey in the lead. Says SRK, "Always Kabhi Kabhi is an honest, touching film. Speaking in the language of the youth, we hope to reach out to young audiences. It promises to take you back in time to some of the best days of your life."

The King Khan will be seen in an item number in this film. Says actor-presenter Roshan Abbas, who makes his directorial debut with the film, "This was one song that Shah Rukh completely immersed himself into. His brief to Pritam was to create a song that would convey the rebellion of the cult song We Will Rock You."

The movie is a contemporary adaptation of the play Grafitti that Roshan had written and directed back in 1999.

Hrithik learns sign language

Despite a hectic shooting schedule for Agneepath, Hrithik Roshan took time out for private lessons in sign language from a tutor.

The actor wanted to communicate with the hearing impaired contestants who will appear on his soon-to-air reality show Just Dance. "He wanted to be able to express his thoughts to them," reveals a source.

During the auditions, he came across a 21-year boy, Nimeet Kotian, whose mother was deaf and mute. The actor was touched by the boy's story. "He wanted to praise the mother for instilling such good values in her son and asked his sign language teacher to teach him to communicate what he wanted to say to the mother. After he was done 'talking', there was not a dry eye on the sets."

That's not all. An insider reveals, "Hrithik also sent across a message on a video to a young girl who had auditioned in London. She is hearing impaired since childhood but danced beautifully. Hrithik was so impressed by her performance that he recorded a message for her in sign language and asked the channel to send it to her."

Is Aishwarya finally expecting a Baby ?

Ever since they got hitched, speculation has been rife about the stork visiting Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan.

The latest to hint at the new addition to the Bachchan parivar is Junior B’s tweet: “@juniorbachchan: Alright gotta put the dancing shoes... BIG B IN DA HOUSE!!!! with a ‘little’ support from junior!” Is Abhishek’s support “little” or is Baby B referring to his baby on the way?

At a recent event, media photographers speculated that Ash might be sporting a baby bump as she ensured that her sari’s pallu remained fixed across her belly right through the event.

While many of her inexplicable fashion choices have only highlighted her fluctuating weight, the industry continues to be abuzz with talk of Ash undergoing IVF treatment.

Aishwarya is thought by many to be the world's greatest beauty. Speaking last year about her hopes to one day become a mom, she said, "Life itself is a blessing, let alone to have opportunity to be able to bring a life into this world.... It's really not in our hands... it's in God's hands. I hope I am just blessed with that experience, I am really looking forward to it and we will certainly cherish it."

'When Karisma called me a B**** '

My toughest scene was when Lolo (Karisma Kapoor) called me a b****. Yes, it’s true. It was in a film called Rishtey. I laugh whenever I think about it. I played a comic role of a loud and funny Koli woman, who was secretly in love with Anil Kapoor.

However, he loved Lolo, so I decided to leave him. In the scene, I had to confront Lolo, scold her and push her after she calls me a ‘b****’. So you can imagine the tension on the sets. You know how it is when you’re shooting with another actress. There’s always that undercurrent of competitiveness and friction.

On top of that, I had never met Lolo before. And the director, Induji, had decided to shoot this confrontational scene on the first day. My dialogue for the scene was two-pages long and I had to maintain the same Koli accent throughout the shot, which was really tough because when you’re doing a dramatic scene you tend to lose track of the accent and just concentrate on getting the emotions right.

Lolo was just expected to stare at me, while I delivered my lengthy monologue. I am very proud of my performance though. Playing a comic role and then having to carry off a serious dramatic sequence was not easy. But I think I pulled it off.

Others may think my roles in Phir Milenge or Life In A Metro were challenging, but to me Rishtey was my toughest scene.

Deepika can't handle Mallya Jr's energy!

Deepika Padukone who features on Simi Selects India's Most Desirable this Sunday was initially coy when asked about Sidhartha Mallya. But a few minutes into the show, the actress said, "I have known Sidhartha from my Bangalore days ¦ he is  charming and intelligent." She added, "The best part about him is that he is very inconsequential to the Mallya. And one thing I'd like to change about him is his excessive energy."
