Ash visited fertility clinic to have son!

Model and actor Bhairavi Goswami is spewing venom. The actor has said that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan went all the way to an IVF Clinic in Bangkok to get a baby boy.

Her twitter account and Facebook account both had her comments that read, "Nauseating 2 read superstars giving interviews about wanting a girl baby when she has gone 2 Bangkok to an IVF clinic which specializes in boy babies. Height of hypocrisy. They know damn well its a boy, after all she has to produce a male heir at any cost - Typical UP mentality, no wonder that state has such high female foeticide."

The Bheja Fry actress also wrote, "facelift is bettter dan going2 fertility clinic in Bangkok dat specializes in boy babys.Then say "I only want healthy baby" bah." In response to a fan's tweet that why just blame UP wallahs Bhairavi wrote, "This star is frm UP & it's typical UP mentality.That's the point I was tryg2 make, nt that it hapns only in UP."

Although the Bachchans have not replied to the particular tweet, we eagerly wait their reactions, if any....

Raveena's comeback item song dropped?

There is no space for Raveena's item number Chandigarh Ki Superstar in Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap. The song has been dropped from the film at the last minute and Raveena is not happy with the development. Movie critic Taran Adarsh confirmed that the song is missing from the film saying, "Didn't see it in the film."

The song will now be used as a promotional tool and Raveena Tandon who was super-kicked about her comeback item number is fuming. The actress who had worked very hard on the song doesn't want to talk about it, post the announcement.

Raveena Tandon was touted as the original item girl of Bollywood and had sizzled in songs like Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast and Sheher Ki Ladki before.

Interestingly, the track featured prominently in the promotional campaign of Bbuddah...

Axing it from the film just before its release is rather surprising.

Vidya in Vishal Bhardwaj's Daayan?

After having left her out of Dedh Ishqiya, Vishal Bhardwaj goes back to Vidya Balan, after he fails to get Rani Mukerji on board.

Vishal Bhardwaj left her out of Dedh Ishqiya, the sequel to his 2010 hit Ishqiya. This shocked not just the masses, but also the actress herself who had won critical acclaim for her performance in the first part. However, now the filmmaker has gone back to the very person, Vidya Balan for his upcoming project Daayan.

Daayan, an ambitious collaboration between Vishal Bhardwaj and Ekta Kapoor has Emraan Hasmi in the lead. This casting decision cost the filmmakers quite a few A-list actors. Allegedly, Rani Mukerji, chose not to work in this film, despite it being a Vishal Bhardwaj venture due to its male lead.

The fact that the film is called Daayan, and the female lead has to play the very role, did not help the actress change her decision. However, Rani had later denied any such stories about her being approached for the film in the first place.

The film is about a man (Emraan Hashmi) and his relationship with three women. One of them being a witch (daayan). Needless to say, the female lead, would have to play the very role of the witch. It was rumoured that Rani, who initially loved the script, decided against it within a few days. Not everybody wants to be a witch, it seems.

However, the filmmakers, Ekta and Vishal chose to stick to their decision of having Emraan in the film. Even after having lost an A-lister actress. And now, it seems, Vishal has gone up to Rani's not-too-good-a-friend Vidya Balan with the same offer.

Vishal Bhardwaj who dropped Vidya Balan from the sequel of Ishqiya, saying that the script demanded not her but two new female faces along with Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi, seems to have gone back to his favourite actress.

Vishal and Vidya had a long discussion on the script of Daayan last week. She loved it and was quite keen on doing the film. Vidya's role will be that of the protagonist, Daayan, the witch.

The actress, apparently loved her role. The fact that there will be two more female actors alongside did not seem to bother her.

However, sources close to the actress said, "Vidya loves the script of Daayan. However, she is unlikely to have the dates to commit to the Vishal Bhardwaj project.

She has Ekta Kapoor's Dirty Picture to complete for the time being. She also has a few other commitments. All of this will clash with the dates that Vishal will require for this project.”

How Jacqueline & Emraan got comfy?

Jacqueline Fernandez likes to talk. And she makes no bones about it. So it was to her shock she discovered that her co-star in Murder 2, Emraan Hashmi is a much quieter fellow than she had anticipated.

“When you meet him first, he comes across as a lot quieter than what you would imagine. In films he looks like someone who is quite casual with a gift of the gab. However, in real life, he doesn't interact much,” Jacqueline revealed in an interview to a news agency.

“This left me wondering how both of us would manage to work with each other as I talk so much. I was like 'Oh my God, would I have to keep my mouth shut for most of the times on sets',” she added.

Fortunately for the 26-year-old actress, a photo shoot was held for the two before the film went on floors. This broke the ice between the two and though they didn't quite become thick friends after that, it became a comfortable professional relationship.

“Emraan has an extremely good sense of humour and makes you laugh in the most tense moments. In fact I was amazed at the manner he was kept his cool and was so chilled out even in adverse situations,” said Jacqueline Fernandez.

The beauty from Sri Lanka has not been able to make a mark in Hindi film industry yet. But she hopes to make a difference with Murder 2, which she says is darker than Murder.

“There is lot of evil and darkness and Murder 2. Compared to what Anurag (Basu) did in Murder, this one is a very dark film,” she says.

Shah Rukh's bathroom trouble

Shah Rukh Khan is famous for arriving fashionably late. To launch the musical, Jhumru which will be showcased in Gurgaon, King Khan arrived hours after the scheduled time at the event held in Toronto as part of the film awards weekend. The star blamed that it was due to the shower taps! He claimed that whenever he travels, it takes him a while to figure out how the taps work in his hotel room. And by the time he makes sense of it, some hours have elapsed. Bath bath mein, kya SRK?

Ranbir-Deepika come face-to-face

At the screening of 'friend' Imran Khan's film 'Delhi Belly', Ranbir Kapoor not only carefully intakes audiences' reaction but also bumps into Dippy!

When Ranbir Kapoor was on his way to Yash Raj Studios for a screening of Delhi Belly, he probably didn't anticipate that two surprises were awaiting him.

First, he came face-to-face with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Second, he was amazed that the special invitees enjoyed his rival's movie so much.

Ranbir had been messaging Imran saying he loved the Bhaag D K Bose song and that he was looking forward to the movie. So letting their proxy war be forgotten, IK invited RK for the movie.

A source says, "Imran was previously in Delhi for the film's promotion. So he told Ranbir that he'd invite him for a show as soon as he returned to Mumbai. And since he returned late Tuesday, he decided to have a screening on Wednesday and invited Ranbir, Karan Johar, Rohan Sippy and some other folk."

However, it seems he had forgotten to tell him that Deepika had been invited too!

So when Ranbir sauntered in with Karan, he was astonished to see that Dippy was there with father, Prakash Padukone and sister Anisha. "But Ranbir was very graceful and he spoke very warmly with her," says our source.

The source adds, "Deepika had flown down from London where she was shooting for Homi Adajania's Cocktail with Saif Ali Khan. She had told Imran that she wanted to see the film. She had got a couple of days off, so she came."

Reaction time
A little while after the screening started, our source reveals that Ranbir was observing how the others were reacting to the onscreen proceedings.

"Maybe he didn't expect people to enjoy the film so much," says our source, adding that when the lights came on at the end of the film, Ranbir's expression was one of shock and awe.

"So much so that some people present were even sniggering among themselves that suddenly, Ranbir wasn't able to handle the competition," states our informer.

However, the actor was quick to regain his composure as he stepped out of the auditorium.

Chiranjeevi takes a U-turn on Big B's request

Chiranjeevi announced his retirement from films to concentrate on his political career on Tuesday disappointing his fans.Two days after he announced of bidding adieu to his acting career, Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi changed his mind and accepted Big B Amitabh Bachchan’s request to don the grease paint again.

Amitabh Bachchan and Chiranjeevi along with many other celebrities attended the premier show of 'Bbuddah-Hoga Tera Baap' at Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Amitabh Bachchan requested his friend Chiranjeevi to act in movies again.He said “I know Chiranjeevi from quite a long time. We share good family relations. A couple of days ago I came to know that he decided to quit films. He acted in 149 films which is not a good number. So, I suggest him to do one more film.”

Chiranjeevi responded very warmly to Big B’s request. He took the blessings of Amitabh by bowing down at his feet and agreed to do one more film only if Amitabh plays a special role in it. "Yes, I will act again. Puri Jagannath will direct the film," Chiranjeevi announced at the premier show of 'Buddha...hoga tera baap', starring Amitabh Bachchan and directed by Jagannath, here late on Thursday night.

It was at the premier show that Amitabh Bachchan requested Chiranjeevi to reconsider his decision to quit acting.

"I will do my 150th film which will be directed by Puri Jagannath," Chiranjeevi declared amidst loud cheers by scores of fans and film personalities present at the multiplex complex.

Another Bollywood director Ramgopal Varma said he was ready to direct Chiranjeevi in his 151st film, if he was willing to continue acting.

Pics - Salman clicked with pretty girls

Now, hardly had we gotten over the Ready hangover that we witness Salman Khan caught with a bevy of beautiful babes in an ad film called ‘Power Ka Chakkar’.

Buzz is that the ad film is for a popular car battery brand and is directed by Nikhil Advani. A lot of girls and guys were spotted on the shoot of the film. Obviously, the girls were vying for Salman’s attention, but he was his bindaas self as usual. 

Preity Zinta learns karate !

Preity Zinta is not replacing Aishwarya Rai in Ladies and Gentleman as the speculation was on. That's because she is busy doing a Lara Croft. Zinta who was seen in a different role in her film Lakshaya where she played a daredevil war journalist, is all set to do an action film where she takes the villain head on.

The film will also be produced by Preity who seems to have been inspired by the various stunts that she saw in the Guinness World Records show that she has been hosting over the past few months.

Not many are aware that she has also completed a full course in karate in an effort to be ready for the role, unlike other actresses who only prepare for the role and do not get to master the art form completely.

Priyanka Chopra had learnt Gatka for one of her films and Koena Mitra too had learnt an art form. But they haven't been able to manage the enthusiasm of our PZ.
