So what if he's 50 something, this Dutt is nothing short of a dude.
While the younger Bollywood brigade is inking names of their lovely other halves, walking arm-in-arm at events, and going overboard with PDA even while the shutterbugs are watching, Sanju believes in the art of love, albeit without making a public spectacle of it.
Apparently, his wife's name is tattooed on his body, but the name reads 'Dilnawaz' (that's Manyata's real name). We don't know if Sunju shared notes (or designs) with Saifoo for this, but we're sure their better halves are proud about the men flaunting their pyar ke nishani. What say?
Gorgeous Deepika Padukone has always had more than her fair share of male admirers. Sportsmen, in particular, tend to be quite expressive of their fondness for Deepy. Men in blue - M S Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh- were apparently bowled over by her dimpled smile. Then there's Sidhartha Mallya, owner of the Royal Challangers Bangalore IPL team, and her 'very good friend', who can’t seem to get enough of her. And now there's an Australian cricket player who is singing songs for the B'wood hottie.
Recently, at a high-profile bash thrown by Shah Rukh Khan, pace bowler Brett Lee supposedly openly flirted with Deepika. Dressed in a summery jumpsuit, she looked stunning, and we can’t really blame Brett for being smitten. Throughout the night, he is reported to have kept singing songs for her. Deepika was said to have been embarrassed by all the attention she was getting but kept smiling.
We wonder what Junior Mallya was up to that evening…
This time the two stars will fight it out at the box office
Their incredible chemistry, as hosts on an awards night and in a chat show sometime back, was the talk of T'town. And with it, Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor seemed to show that competitors can be friends. But Bollywood is a tough place to survive in and it doesn’t take too long for friends to turn foes. Is that what's happening with Ranbir and Imran?
After endless comparisons and a certain Miss Kaif, the rumours about a problem between the two began doing the rounds. And the two seemed to keep their distance from one another. But now they might get competing again.
It seems like the duo might be fightong it out at the box office. Imran’s ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Rockstar’ are scheduled to release on the same date (September 9). Incidentally, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ will see Ranbir’s alleged ex Katrina Kaif opposite Imran.
So who's going to win this round - Imran or Ranbir? Watch this space for updates!
The Bachchan bahu has gracefully stepped into Kareena Kapoor's shoes in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. With age catching up, there is always an insecurity which creeps up in the heroines and as a result, they tend to go that extra mile to make their presence felt. The best bet for that would be an extra dose of glamour and skin show. And even Aishwarya Rai seems to be no exception to it.
According to reports from Mumbai, the chances are that Ash is all set to come up with some shocking nude scenes in her new movie. This is titled ‘Heroine’ and it is being directed by the hard hitting Madhur Bhandarkar who never comprises on realism.
Sources say he wanted Kareena Kapoor to do the role but the pretty girl got scared when he explained about the nudity aspect in the film.
On the other hand, the film takes a closer look at the cinema industry wherein heroines ‘compromise’ for various offers and other benefits. So, one can imagine how it would be when Aishwarya gets into the bold act of compromising. This has already become a hot topic of discussion in the tinsel town of Mumbai.
Heroine will mark the first time that Rai has worked with Bhandarkar, who has a track record of peering into the lifestyles of India's rich and famous with such films as Fashion and Page 3.
Swimsuit model Angela Jonsson shifts her focus from Ranbir to Shahid, simply for publicity sake
Swimsuit calendar babe Angela Jonsson has replaced the one Kapoor in her life with another. The girl who was spotted with fourth generation RK, Ranbir, at various city nightspots and even went for his house party has found a new hang out buddy. The industry is abuzz with news of her latest 'friendship' with Shahid.
Turns out that this Kapoor trail is just a part of her big Bollywood dream. It's quite easy, really. You want to be known in Bollywood. So, what do you do? Simple.
Go out for dinner with am A-lister. Make sure people see you. If they don't, make sure you get them to hear about it. Sooner the better.
A source revealed, "Ranbir hardly knew Angela. However, being a ladies' man, he reciprocated to her overtures with much gusto. But he never thought he'd get linked up with her.
Apparently, photographers were told to click Ranbir with Ms Jonsson in public. Somehow, these pictures always made their way to the media."
Ranbir who never worked with Angela was quite surprised to hear all these stories and wondered where they were coming from, initially. "When Ranbir realised what Angela was up to, he immediately stopped entertaining her calls and messages," added the source.
Ms Jonsson remained undeterred. So what if one Kapoor boy was lost, there were definitely more fishes in the ocean. Shifting her focus, she has now zeroed down on Shahid, the next Kapoor for her coterie.
"So what's wrong in her being seen with happening young guys? Every heroine aspires to do the same.
Angela just succeeded in her strategy. Why grudge her that?" said a young actress in the model's defense. After all, Angela did what Mallika Sherawat had been doing for ages. That too on an international level.

Even though actress Bipasha Basu claims that she has no reservations in working with ex-boyfriend, John Abraham when it comes to brand endorsements, sources suggest that the latter is trying to wriggle out of all the brands that endorse jointly.
“There are at least four brands that were negotiating with the couple to endorse them jointly. They have received a favourable response from Bipasha, but John has not shown interest in those deals yet,” says a source.
Sources also suggest that Abraham has decided to go solo when it comes to ads and will try to negotiate with those whom he’s already committed for joint brand endorsements. He, apparently, won’t be giving dates to any endorsement shoot planned with Bipasha.
“John is not keen on those endorsements and is working towards a solution that will help him avoid a shoot with Bipasha and also not affect the brand. Now that they have split, the whole concept of the ad shoots has to be reworked,” adds the source. Bipasha split with John after a nine year relationship in February 2011, but both chose to keep mumtill May 2011.
According to a leading ad man, some brands have decided to wait and watch when it comes to even Basu’s track record. “Following the recent (Amar Singh tape) controversy and split, some brands will choose to wait and watch till the whole thing gets over. Let’s see how thing shape up,” said the ad man.
Walking the red carpet at Cannes is a cake walk for Bollywood celebrities these days. Right from Aishwarya Rai to Mallika Sherawat and Minnisha Lamba to Sonam Kapoor, all have graced the prestigious film festival held annually at the French city. And Aishwarya Rai has in a way been the face of India at Cannes.
However, Saif Ali Khan feels that representing India at Cannes is an honour for sure but to make an appearance independently is fruitless. On being quizzed why does he think Aishwarya Rai makes it a point to be at the event every year, Saif said, “Maybe because she is a pretty face.”
Well…what was Saif trying to say! Was he trying to simply admire the light eyed lady’s beauty or was mocking the lady.
Nonetheless, chote nawab feels it is important to showcase cinema made in India.
“I feel that, generally speaking, we make different kinds of films, there are commercial movies and there are also a lot of filmmakers who make arty movies and they should be competing here,” a daily quoted Saif as saying.
He feels Cannes provides a platform for the global film fraternity to exchange and share ideas.
“In my opinion, the ideal reason for going to Cannes would be to showcase a movie, but you can rent space also. The best way to be here is to have a film competing in the festival. According to me these international film festivals are about different members and stars from various countries getting together,” Saif told the daily.
It's usually girls who can talk all through the afternoon, but this time around it was Imran Khan and his gang of boys who made the afternoon a whole lot fun.
It sure helped that he had stand-up comedian Vir Das for company.
Kat calls: Imran was very keen to have Katrina Kaif as the item girl in his movie. When asked why, he said that he found Katrina's jawaani very attractive.
Kareena Kapoor is extremely unwell. The actress who's been on her toes thanks to her grueling schedule has fallen sick due to a viral fever.
Despite her sickness, she has to travel with Aamir for the Pondicherry schedule of Reema Katgi's film. A source reveals, "Bebo's been shooting round the clock with the Khans – Saif, Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh for all their films.
She's been shuttling between the sets of Bodyguard and Ra.One the last few days and the heat has taken its toll on her. Even though she's unwell, Bebo has decided to go ahead to Pondicherry and will be accompanied by a doctor."
