The former Kolkata Knight Riders captain missing from guest list at Shah Rukh Khan's recent party
At a grand party held at Shah Rukh Khan's residence on Monday night, Pune Warriors captain Yuvraj Singh was on the guest list but the former captain of SRK's Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders (and the current PW vice-captain), Sourav Ganguly, wasn't.
In what is being seen as a right royal snub, the only other cricketers invited to the actor's party apart from his close friends, belonged to his own team, KKR.
An insider reveals, "Yuvraj Singh is close to the star couple and attended the party.
Also, buddies Arjun Rampal, Priyanka Chopra, Neelam and Sameer Soni, Kaajal Anand, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey, Dino Morea, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor were all invited.
It was surprising that though Sourav Ganguly was in town he was not at the star-studded cricket bash, considering he was seen at Khan's previous parties."
Sources say that while Shah Rukh never publicly spoke of problems with his captain, the blunt Dada always spoke his mind.
"SRK was of the opinion that they could have dealt with it on a one-on-one basis instead of going to the media (like Ganguly did)."
