Just a few days after Kareena Kapoor gave the nod to host a style-based reality show on television, it’s now Sonam Kapoor’s turn to follow suit for a similar show. It’s being said that the actor was approached by a channel to host a reality show which is centred around shopping for the latest trends and keeping the fashion flag flying high.
A source says, “Sonam has always been looked up to as a style icon by the younger generation. At Cannes too, she was a stunner in a Jean Paul Gaultier gown. Many international designers were all praises for her appearance and the way she carried herself.” Although nothing has been finalised yet, talks seem to be favourable as of now. While several people are keen to see if the actor will be able to pull it off as a television host, they are confident that she will have a lot of valuable tips to share, which will be grabbed by the audience.
A lot has been said about Sonam’s active attention towards fashion at the cost of her acting. Earlier, co-star Abhay Deol had hurled accusations at her for concentrating entirely on clothes, instead of her roles, during the making of Aisha. Going by her outstanding success in fashion as against a lacklustre show at the box-office, is this daddy’s girl considering a serious professional change?
