Morphed pic of Shahid Afridi on her Twitter page causes trouble
Sonakshi Sinha's sense of humour hasn't gone down well with her Twitter followers in Pakistan. The 'Dabangg' actress had uploaded a doctored picture of Pakistani cricket captain Shahid Afridi being hit with a bat by an India batsman. Sonakshi had called the picture 'De Ghumaake'.
She posted on her Twitter page later, "Pak fans v upset. jung ke maidan mein ladne se toh accha hi hai khel ke maidan mein ladein! im all for love thy neighbour. be a sport yaar."
But the fans were not to be satisfied with that explanation. One of them tweeted back to Sonakshi, "Hey Sona yeh aapne galat kiya aap koi pic nahi lagani chaiye thi Afridi wali. U Hurt me & U Hurt all fans in pakistan."
Sonakshi replied, "That wasnt the intention. was all done in good humor. and if people dont understand that...its really not my fault!"
On the day of the India-Pakistan match itself, Sonakshi tweeted, "MATCH DAY!!! Good luck to both teams. Show us ur best side. Give us a great match!"
She added some days later, "No jokes today. too many people here without a sense of humour. boo."
