Looks like Sidhartha Mallya had a childhood dream to date Deepika Padukone and well he is quite living his dream now.
Friends of the Mallya scion inform us that he had always told them that he really wanted to ask Dips out right from when she was a little known model and was seeing her first boyfriend Nihar Padhya.
Sid, being a gentleman he is, did not make a pass at her given her committed status but when her relationship went kaput, he made his intention clear to his father, Vijay Mallya. They were on a cruise where randomly the topic of who Sid wants to date came up and he immediately said that Deepy was the one. Vijay apparently had also told him that since the families are from Bangalore, he could invite Prakash padukone and daughter home. A shy Sid had dismissed the idea. Certainly one cute love story this.
