The much awaited and well promoted fourth version of Kaun Banega Crorepati started off on the eve of Big B Amitabh Bachchan 68th birthday. There was a different story six years ago when Bachchan sahab took the show as he was going through the financial crisis and KBC brought him back in the limelight.
The show opened with a song composed by Vishal-Shekhar and choreographed by Shiamak Davar. His dance troupe is especially in Mumbai for the performance. Big B also danced on the tune of Pag-e-Ghungroo from his super-hit film Namak Halal.
The show kicked off with Amitabh reciting a few lines from his legendary father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poem. He made a grand entry from a 24-foot-tall structure which is in the form of a giant ‘A’.
With the presence of the superstar of the millennium, TRP of the show is all set to boost and leave behind its closest competitor Big Boss, however Salman Khan could be only savior for Colors as Amitabh Bachchan's KBC would not be airing when Salman Khan is scheduled to make appearance on Big Boss 4 i.e. Friday & Saturday.
