Thanks to her consistent tweeting, Priyanka, who recently launched her website, also has more followers on Twitter (6,88,972) than even Shah Rukh Khan (6,77,162)!
The latest news is that the Bollywood diva has gone one step further and signed an exclusive agreement with UTV Interactive to launch her official YouTube channel on the Internet. Complete with voice blogs and voice chats, this will allow PC fans a sneak peek into her personal space.
So will the website and Twitter and the YouTube channel cause the good old star mystique to fade away? Priyanka defends: “If I don’t tell people about me then it is a problem and even if I tell, there seems to be a problem. Besides, you won’t be in my bedroom, or see the colour of the curtains. Basically you will see stuff that I want you to see. When I was not a star, I was a huge fan of SRK. If there was a social networking site in those days, I would have liked to reach out to him.”
Priyanka is not worried about juggling her schedules with the constant networking. She grins saying, “You don’t know? Unlike guys, women multi-task very easily.”
