Contrary to earlier reports that the Bangalore events will be only for a close set of 100 family members, last night's sangeet ceremony of Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva turned out to be a massive star-studded event.

The function got over by 4 am. While leaving, Sivamani said, "Oberoi family is a good friend of mine. Vivek and I both went to the Himalayas together. So, I have been here to entertain him. I personally wish him that he should get a healthy future."

Priyanka's brother Aditya Alva also spoke to MiD DAY after the function. He said, "The marriage will be held in both Karnataka and Punjabi style. With the help of God's blessings, all is going well. We had the mehendi and sangeet function today and the haldi function will take place tomorrow morning."
Vivek was initially supposed to go Chancery Pavilion after the mehendi function but early morning he decided to stay back at the farmhouse.
Today, Vivek and Priyanka tie the knot at Alva's residence in Hebbal. Priyanka will be wearing two traditional outfits by two fashion biggies -- a bright Tarun Tahiliani lehenga for the sehra and jaymala, which she would change into a white and gold creation by Rohit Bal for the pheras later. Her mother has planned a Sarita Nirmal Mandoth bright saree for the wedding night.
