In that scene as per the script of the movie Priyanka Chopra is supposed to let go the gown she is wearing in front of the debutant actor Vivaan. Vivaan is famous Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah’s son.

'I've locked the deal for a French film'
One of the Hindi film industry's most successful outsource stories, Katrina Kaif talks of moving in with sister Isabelle, playing the role of a vicious manipulator, and turning producer for a French film
You can't escape change. You change, you grow older. I'm not the person I used to be when I came into the industry. I wouldn't say I've toughened. But I have lost my naivete. Having come from the modelling world, it took me a while to adjust to the demands of the film industry, and to the motion-picture camera.

Having come from the modelling world, it took me a while to adjust to the demands of the film industry, and to the motion-picture camera.
I am not going to pretend I grew up on Sholay and Mother India while I was back in London. Hindi cinema was a new world for me. Today, I believe I have begun to understand that world. And I love it! I wouldn't exchange my life as an actress for anything.
I am now equipped and ready to move on to the next phase in my life and career. I want to create role opportunities for myself beyond what I'm doing. I am not unhappy with the roles I have but I want to play people I can never be in real life. I want to do a double role, play a sergeant in the army, or a scheming, vicious manipulator.
I think I've had great parts in some fabulous movies. This year, I got to work with Farah Khan for the first time. And it was such a lot of fun. Shooting with her and Akshay Kumar was like a picnic.
I think I'd enjoy working with more female directors; maybe Aparna Sen, Deepa Mehta and Mira Nair.
Turning producer is another future plan, and I have certain projects in mind. I'd like to buy the remake rights for a couple of Indian and foreign films. In fact, I've already locked the deal for a French film. Playing director is not my cup of tea. But yes, I am beginning to understand the technical aspects of the moviemaking process. Let's just say I'm finally getting a hang of it.
Oh yes, and my sister Isabelle will be joining me in Mumbai. She plans to be an actress once she has completed her education. I'm dying to do up the sea-facing home I have just bought. Once she moves into my home, I'll have more reason to go home early.

Vivek dances to Ash's tunes
The festivities of the Vivek Oberoi- Priyanka Alva wedding kicked off with a mehndi brunch at the Alva residence on Thursday.
It was a strictly traditional affair. Priyanka wore a ghagra choli and Nandini wore a peach Benarasi silk saree. On the menu were Mediterranean and Italian food. Pictures of the mehndi were framed and given to the guests before they left the party in the evening.
Then came the sangeet, which ace choreographer Sandip Soparkkar was appointed to choreograph. Sandip, whocouldn't stay back for the wedding as work beckoned him to Pune, choreographed 8-9 songs for the sangeet that took place on Thursday evening for friends and family of the couple.
Diya Mirza and another Bollywood actress were supposed to dance to a medley of the latest Bollywood remixes and Mehboob Mere from Fiza, respectively. But neither turned up, much to the dismay of everyone. Subhash Ghai and Samir Karnik, directors of the Vivek-starrer Kisna and Kyun... Ho Gaya Na? respectively, are said to have hit the dance floor. Sandip, incidentally, choreographed for Kyun..., which also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Sources claim that no songs from that film are being played at the wedding. However, we also hear that the family danced to Zor Ka Jhatka, a song from the latest Ash-starrer and that they were "totally cool" about it.
Vivek, not one to forget the cause he supports even during his wedding, introduced the girls of the Yashodhara Foundation. They danced to a song from Kisna for the actor, who was dressed in a turquoise blue sherwani. The Indian numbers were choreographed by Saroj Khan almost two months ago, when she came to town for a workshop. Priyanka, Nandini and her sister Soniya performed a classical dance to a Tamil song. The bride was wearing a pink-and-peach lehenga with gold gota work made by a family friend. Vivek personally interacted with every guest there. Says designer Seema Malhotra, also a family friend of the Alvas, "Priyanka wore a blue-and-green ensemble with layers of net and organza and a blue jewelled corset on the evening of the choti mehndi. At the sangeet, Vivek came up to me and said, 'You made my bride look like a mermaid.' They had made her sit against a backdrop of peacock colours on that day."
There was an hour-long audio-visual on the couple, narrating their journey from childhood till the day they met. Vivek's father Suresh Oberoi voiced the narration and two people enacted the parts of Vivek and Priyanka. The video encapsulated the moment VO popped the question on a bridge in Florence to an utterly bemused Priyanka, dressed in a black strapless gown with a white shawl, looking coy and surprised. It was a scene straight out of a Bollywood potboiler, where Vivek, dressed in a black tux, proposed with a star-shaped diamond ring. "As part of the presentation, there were good-humoured jokes on how Priyanka rejected all the proposals she received, and Vivek was also in search of his soulmate. When Priyanka first met Vivek, she was like, 'Oh! These Bollywood types!'. But when VO proposed, he said, 'I am a Bollywood type, but I love you'" said our source.
At the end of the presentation, the 800 people invited for the sangeet saw just how romantic VO can be as he read out a poem that he wrote for Priyanka on how she filled his life with love. The surprise package of the evening? VO coming on the stage riding a bike decorated with red heart-shaped balloons. After that, they danced to Strangers in the Night and a few Bollywood numbers.
Tarun Tahiliani came to Bangalore yesterday afternoon to drape Priyanka's red-and-gold lehenga for the wedding. Suresh is said to have commented on how beautiful Priyanka looks in Indian clothes. Priyanka, in fact, wore a salwar suit by Seema Malhotra, the first time she met the Oberois.

Anushka's liplock with ex boyfriend
Here's Anushka Sharma's newbie co-star Ranveer Singh on their liplock scene
Newbie Ranveer Singh, who was reportedly in a relationship with co-star Anushka Sharma, says even though he wanted, he could not have retakes for the kissing scene with the actress in their forthcoming film 'Band Baaja Baaraat'.
"The kiss was a part of the script, so we had to do it and it has been treated very aesthetically. We did it in just one take. I tried to go wrong, but I was too good a kisser," Mumbai boy Ranveer said.
The actor is making his debut opposite Anushka in 'Band Baaja Baaraat', produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by first timer Maneesh Sharma. The film is slated to release Dec 10.
Ranveer is all praise for his leading lady in the film, but remained tight-lipped about their off-screen relationship saying he is very much single.
"It was fantastic working with Anushka. She never tried to make me feel like I didn't know what I was doing. She has a tremendous amount of respect for me as a co-actor and I respect her for that.
"She is so confident that her confidence rubbed off on me. It's contagious. She is a brilliant actor, a natural actor who knows her job and does it professionally. I really learnt a lot from her. I am single and I wouldn't want to say more on that," said Ranveer, who is playing Bittoo Sharma in the film.
Throwing light on his character, he said: "My character is a Delhi University guy who doesn't believe in being focused. He just whiles away his time, doesn't care about his future and takes each day as it comes. But finally, he realises he needs to do something after college gets over and that's when he meets Anushka's character, who is his opposite.
"She is focused, very determined and career oriented and knows exactly what to do in life. So when my character meets her, he finds out that she is quite sorted out and latches on to her. He convinces her to start a business together. Thus they start a wedding planning firm and the journey begins from there."
Ranveer, who doesn't have a film background, did a course in acting from Indiana University and has also assisted director Shaad Ali on a couple of ad films.
So how was it playing a Delhi boy for this Mumbaikar?
"The most fun things that I did for the film was transforming into Bittoo. When the director went to Delhi to scout for locations, I went along with him. I let myself loose in Delhi University.
"For days I hung out with boys there. I made friends, chilled out with them, and even went to the classes. I spent time on the campus, clicked pictures, made videos of them and analysed what they liked, what they don't. I tried to pick up their lingo and their perspective on certain things.
"They just welcome you with open arms. It's testament to the coolness quotient of the people in Delhi University. They are so friendly and so warm. I met some really cool people there," he said.
Bebo bonds with 'in-laws'
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor air-dashed to Bangalore for half a day to celebrate Saif's first cousin, Saad Bin Jung's, 50th birthday.
Saad's friends and family from across the country and world attended the private event that took place at Sunil Shetty's pub-cum-restaurant in Indiranagar. Saif and Kareena, who are in the middle of shooting Agent Vinod, didn't need much convincing to take time out of their busy schedule for the do as Saad is close family. The gift the couple presented to Saad, we hear, was "extremely well thought of", said a source.
Saif, dressed in a simple shirt and a pair of jeans, and Kareena, wearing a beige churidar kurta, mingled with the 100-odd invitees. A three-piece band from Hyderabad, Krish, played retro music and the couple was seen dancing to them. The menu comprised Indian and Chinese food, which they tucked into, forgetting their diet plans.
Saif stayed at Saad's place, but Kareena, we hear, stayed at another cousin's home. The couple flew back the next morning, not staying back to attend Vivek Oberoi's wedding.

Priyanka is stunning: Siddharth Mallya
Deepika Padukone would never have dreamt that her off-the record boyfriend Siddharth Mallya would choose Priyanka Chopra over her. At the launch of the Kingfisher calendar girls hunt 2011, Sid was asked who he thought has the perfect body in bollywood? While one hoped he would say Deepika, he surprised one and all.
"I think all of them are very beautiful and have great looking bodies but I feel Priyanka is particularly stunning." Deepika took the news sportingly: "I think I am blessed with a great face and body but her (Priyanka's) mental state and strength makes her successful and how she carries herself." Deepika also said she was glad to be chosen as a Calendar Girl before the company began the selection process via a contest.

We had the mehendi and sangeet function today and the haldi function will take place tomorrow morning."
Vivek was initially supposed to go Chancery Pavilion after the mehendi function but early morning he decided to stay back at the farmhouse.
Today, Vivek and Priyanka tie the knot at Alva's residence in Hebbal. Priyanka will be wearing two traditional outfits by two fashion biggies -- a bright Tarun Tahiliani lehenga for the sehra and jaymala, which she would change into a white and gold creation by Rohit Bal for the pheras later. Her mother has planned a Sarita Nirmal Mandoth bright saree for the wedding night.

Hrithik Roshan to romance Kristen Stewart in Paani
American actress Kristen Stewart is reportedly stepping into Bollywood domain. And if reports are to be believed, the 'Twilight' lass will be romancing none other than heartthrob Hrithik Roshan in the upcoming Shekhar Kapur film Paani.
So after his much talked-about chemistry with Spanish actress Barbara Mori, Hrithik Roshan will next set the screen on fire with American Kristen Stewart.
According to sources associated with the film, Paani is inspired from the Romeo and Juliet theme of Shakespeare. The Shekhar Kapur film tells the story about a poor boy, portrayed by Hrithik Roshan, who lives in the slum areas of Mumbai. A rebel at heart, the boy comes across a rich girl, played by Kristen Stewart, and the two fall in love.
Paani has been in the production stage for some time now and while Hrithik Roshan had already been finalized for the male lead, Shekhar Kapur was on the lookout for somebody tall and fair to play the part of the contemporary Juliet.
The grapevine has it that Shekhar Kapur approached Kristen Stewart directly for being a part of his upcoming venture, and since the actress has always been a fan of his works, she said yes without giving it a second thought.
The audience though is eager to see the Hrithik – Kristen chemistry.
