For all female fans of Ranbir Kapoor, there is good news and bad news. The good news is that the actor claims that he is single and the bad news is that he’s not ready to mingle, not yet. The reason you ask? It’s because he wants to focus on his career completely, Ranbir says. Sources close to the actor say, “Ranbir has a whole lot of great movies lined up. Both Barfee and Rockstar will see him in some challenging avatars. So he just wants to wash his hands off frivolous rumours and concentrate on his work only.” And the actor is already keeping himself busy preparing for his roles. For Barfee, where Ranbir is playing a role in which he is both speech and hearing impaired, he has already started attending workshops to learn the unique techniques of sign language.
But no matter how much hard work the actor puts into his professional life, it’s his personal life that alwaysa manages to grab the headlines. Soon after he broke up with Deepika Padukone, there were rumours about a relationship that blossomed on the sets of Rajneeti with co-star Katrina Kaif. And now, his increasing closeness with Rockstar co-star Nargis Fakhri, seems to be the reason behind the rift between him and Kat. But the final straw for Ranbir was the most recent rumour linking him with Band Baaja Baaraat girl Anushka Sharma. That’s when Bollywood’s favourite bachelor decided to clear things once for all. His friends say, “Ranbir has finally confirmed that he is officially single and is happy that way. He just wants to be left alone.” But going by Ranbir’s penchant for controversies, his actions don’t speak the same as his words.
