Manmadhan Ambu is facing the wrath of the Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) for the song ‘Kannodu Kannai Kalandhal’ in the film. The Hindu outfit has sent a notice to Kamal Hassan, Trisha and the producer Udhayanidhi Stalin asking them to remove the song from the film.
According to reports, HMK has urged the makers of the film to delete the number as it hurts the sentiments of Hindu. The controversial song speaks much about woman's desire and in the lines, which contain God's names like Aranganathar and Sri Varalakshmi, has left the Hindu group red-faced. It is noted that Kamal himself has written the song and crooned it with Trisha.
However, the movie bosses are yet to respond to the notice. It is all set to release on December 17.
