It’s a make or break situation for Kareena Kapoor. Bollywood’s most glamorous face has half a dozen big banner films lined up for release this year, and she’s leaving no stone unturned to ensure she strikes gold. Recently, when the unit of Bodyguard was shooting in Patiala, Kareena took a two-hour break to visit a gurudwara in the city.
The Kapoors are reportedly big devotees of the Dukh Nivaran Sahib gurudwara and make it a point to offer prayers there everytime they are shooting up North. Kareena was shooting some crucial scenes for Bodyguard, but requested the director to spare her for a couple of hours. “She is very professional and has never left any unit waiting because of personal work. But since this was for a religious purpose, the director agreed to give her some time off,” says an eyewitness.
Accordingly, Kareena, dressed in a maroon salwar kameez, entered the gurudwara with some unit members and prayed for about half an hour. They then made a quick exit from the place and resumed shooting. The diva is currently the highest paid actress in the industry. She is also the first choice for any endorsement deal. With a massive line-up of upcoming films including Bodyguard, Agent Vinod, Ra.One, Reema Kagti’s yet untitled film and Karan Johar’s next opposite Imran Khan, she’s on top of her game. All she now needs is some divine assistance to help her stay there.
