Deepika, Sonam upset Ranbir's family

Their comments about him on 'Koffee With Karan' have made the Kapoors mad 

Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor's comments on Ranbir on 'Koffee With Karan' have upset the Kapoor clan, particulary Rishi Kapoor. And the Kapoors aren't being quiet about it.

On Karan Johar's show (which aired early this week) Deepika and Sonam both had a lot of fun at Ranbir's expense. Ex-girlfriend Deepika made it fairly clear that he had cheated on her, said that she would gift him contraceptives, and rated him low on sex appeal.

Meanwhile, Sonam agreed with Deepika that Ranbir could not be faithful. She also said that Ranbir needed a stylist, and wasn't at all sexy, considering she'd seen him even when he shot the towel-dropping scene in 'Saawariya', their debut film.

Apparently, Ranbir's dad Rishi Kapoor is angry with Deepika and Sonam as well as Karan for what's been said. It seems that Rishi Kapoor and wife Neetu haven't seen the show but they've heard about it from friends, who were surprised by how Ranbir was portrayed.

We hear that Rishi, who's been on Karan's show earlier, thinks it is TV ratings that are leading the host/director to promote so much gossip. Rishi's also believed to have said that the actresses should focus on their work instead of talking the way they did about Ranbir.

And it's not just Rishi who's mad. Wife Neetu as well as Ranbir's aunt are said to be quite upset by the episode.
