After a ‘Dabangg’ debut in Bollywood, opposite Salman Khan, Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi has made waves in B- town. Her Rajjo act robbed hearts of many and has helped Sonakshi bag important big banner projects despite her saying no to skin show.
She is now reported as lucky charm for Salman, as it used to be a jinx for Salman, that any new comer who acts with Salman never has been able to make it big in Bollywood. Be it Sneha Ullal, or Zarine Khan, the careers of both the newcomers have sank without a trace, but Sonakshi seems to have broken the curse with big projects in hand.
She is going to be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick, opposite Salman, in Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’ and also has an important role in the Abbas- Mustan thriller Race’s sequel.
It is now up to her how she cashes on them. The actress has been offered sums of up to a crore for one film, which is a great sign in early days, believe the industry insiders.
Being a star child has helped Sonakshi but now it depends on her how she takes her career forward from here.
