Big B wants to mirror Jha

To play the role of a college professor, Big B insisted his hair and beard look exactly like his director Prakash Jha’s

Amitabh Bachchan will don a look in Aarakshan that resembles its director Prakash Jha.

The team starts shooting for the film later this month in Bhopal. And for this film Big B has decided to change his look completely.

Last week during a discussion over the film, Prakash Jha apparently suggested that Bachchan’s normal look might be altered for the college professor’s role he will play. Bachchan’s excited response was a question to Jha, “Okay, how would you like me to look?”

Before Jha could react, Big B’s said, “I want my hair and beard to be styled exactly like yours for my professor’s role.”

Says a source, “At first Jha thought this was Big B’s wry humour and he requested him not to pull his leg. But Bachchan was serious and insisted a looks test be done immediately. Now, he will sport a look that is a replica of Jha’s.”

When contacted, Prakash Jha admitted that Bachchan will change his look for Aarakshan and added, “Bachchan Saab has made it clear that he wants his hair and beard exactly like mine.

He thinks an academic should look like me. I’m flattered.”
